WELCOME
I would like to introduce you all to The Gorilla Position, a place where wrestling fan can get their fix on wrestling gossip, news and opinions.
Let me say from the outset that although I try to watch most mainstream wrestling this article will focus mainly on The WWE. This is a product that I have watched since I was a kid, a product that I love passionately and one that always entertain me.
The intention here is not to come across as either a cynic nor a smart fan. I just want to offer my view as wrestling fan as news breaks and with twists and turns of current storyline.
I always watch every single episode of Raw and Smackdown and do my best to catch Impact Wrestling and Superstars. Again, coming clean I often forward a lot of Impact as I dislike their story arcs and the amount talking that goes on in their shows. I try to watch every PPV that is available and hope to post links where applicable. Talking about Links, if I quote or use other articles I hope to reference them and give the references so you do fan can see the source.

At the end of the day I am offering opinions here
I hope everyone gets the name of the blog, but for those who don't let me explain the meaning and the relevance. Gorilla Mansoon was a famous wrestler within the WWE. He once shared a ring with the great boxer Muhammad Ali. After Gorilla retired, he would sit at a position near the curtain. He would be the last point of contact for the wrestler as they would hit the ring. Any last minute changes would be discussed there and communicated to the wrestler coming out or via headset to referee. In Gorilla's honour the WWE named the position the Gorilla Position.
The idea as mentioned earlier is this is also a point for fans, almost like a last point between kayfabe and actual stories/news.
Any ways I hope you enjoy
A. Fan
